I wasn't expecting to write a new song this early in 2021, but then an RV exploded in downtown Nashville, Tennessee early Christmas morning, We soon learned the the suicide bomber was obsessed with reptilian alien nonsense and it seems that tied in with ridiculous conspiracy theories about COVID19 and 5G internet and that he played a taped warning in which a computer generated woman's voice booming from loud speakers on the RV, warned people to exit the area in advance of the detonation, followed by a recording of excerpts of the song Downtown by Petula Clark.

I thought this incident was such an interesting metaphor for struggle our entire planet is having with online disinformation, much of it state sponsored.
